Introduction

The City of Vernon is in the process of updating its Parks Asset Management Plan. As part of this update, the City is seeking feedback from specific user groups that utilize a variety of the parks in Vernon on a regular basis. The feedback will help the project team understand the current experiences and park needs of the user groups and inform the levels of service that our City’s parks need to provide.

Project Details

The Parks Asset Management Plan is a City document that details information about our City’s parks and defines the park services to be provided, how the services are provided, and what funds are required to provide the services. The Plan will provide strategic information on how best to balance the decision factors and ensure that a sustainable level of service can be maintained that also responds to user needs. The Plan will help inform City decision making related to funding and capital planning for parks.

As part of this update, the project team wants to ensure that the level of service determined is informed by user experiences. As a result, the City is seeking feedback from user groups that have frequent and consistent interaction with the parks. The feedback received will inform the level of service defined in the Asset Management Plan.

We are asking that 1 survey be completed per user group and that you answer the questions on behalf of the whole group's experience in the park (e.g., the coordinator of your organization). The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
