Over $70,000 was granted to the City of Vernon and the North Okanagan Cycling Society for the new bike trails and pump tracks by the Kalamalka Rotary Club, Foord Family Foundation, Community Foundation North Okanagan, Funtastic and Sun Country Cycle. There are three pump tracks, a gradually climbing trail and flow trail for beginner to intermediate abilities.
Bike skills parks offer opportunities for riders of all ages and types of riders to learn and practice their bike handling skills in a planned safe environment. Becker Park has been selected to be the home of a new bike skills park within the City of Vernon.
